The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Tony Cole, has mocked the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, over his refusal to allow the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Siminialayi Fubara, to make public appearances.
Tony Cole stated that he has been busy campaigning and socializing with the people of Rivers State throughout this campaign season, however, his counterpart in PDP has refused to do the same. Tony Cole went on to kneel down to beg Siminialayi Fubara to come out from hiding and address the people of the state the same way he has been doing.
Tony Cole also went on to challenge Siminialayi Fubara to come out and challenge him to a debate. Tony Cole noted that he would love a situation where Siminialayi Fubara would come out in the open and both of them will publicly tell the people of Rivers State the schools they both went to and their intentions for the state.
Tony Cole told the people of Rivers State that the coming elections is not about political parties, rather, it is about who knows the people of the state more and who can provide the needs of the people.
